This active and engaging enquiry allows students to have fun and still work at the higher level in which we need them too.
The enquiry answers two vital questions:Why did the British Government begin the policy of transportation to Australia, and how successful was it?
After exploring a ‘saucy’ image from the late 18th century the students, move on to gather vital information before assessing the relative successes of transportation.
Using their new found knowledge and skills of deduction your class will end by dating the ‘saucy picture’.
