The History Resource Cupboard website has been set up by an obsessive history educator with the help of a group of expert history teaching colleagues.

Our shared passion is teaching outstanding history for all.

Having spent years practising our craft in real classrooms, we now have a deep understanding of how to teach engaging and interesting, yet rigorous enquiry-based history.

Rather than giving you a cracking idea in isolation and leaving you to think through how to knit it together into a lesson sequence, we are providing completed enquiries to download – over 20 for free.

All of the lessons are fully resourced, have phase-by-phase guidance and, importantly, they have been tried and tested with real students in mixed ability classrooms.

We also offer a highly rated consultancy service where we come to your school and offer you bespoke support.
