History Resource Cupboard - lessons and resources for schools

How should we remember carmaker Henry Ford?

Henry FordThis enquiry aims to introduce students to one of the industrial titans of the USA – Henry Ford. The primary focus is assessing Ford’s historical significance.

Moreover, the lesson consolidates the earlier enquiry on the causes of the economic boom in the 1920s and deals with a number of the same themes, including the growth in wages and the increasing ubiquity of the motorcar.

It is highly active and uses a good balance of resources and film clips. It won’t fail to engage and stretch.
