History Resource Cupboard - lessons and resources for schools

What and when was the French Revolution?

The Rights of ManThis highly active and engaging lesson provides an introduction and an overview of the French Revolution.

Starting with a picture relay, by the end of the lesson your students will use their new found knowledge to date the picture that they have reconstructed.

They will also be able to put a date to when they think the revolution started, and have thought about its legacy. Not bad work for an hour lesson!
